    Dramatic Table Entry –Silver Medal

    Theme – Childhood

The first entry into floral competitions for the Floralia team, resulted in a Silver medal.

The theme of ‘Childhood’ was represented by a few of the pastimes we remembered from our own sunny summer days…

Playing games and making picnics, in the sunshine under a stunning shade made of gloriosa, orchids and roses. The wire work in the parasol alone, took 3 hours to create.

Dramatic table Entry – Gold Medal

    Theme – Enchanted Ball

Everyone was overwhelmed by size and incredible amount of time and work, which it took to create this incredible lady.

Standing over 8 feet tall the logistics of making it took much planning.

Vibrant purple Vandella Orchids and lime green Cymbidium Orchids, were the central flowers creating this vivid display.

    Gold Medal

    Theme – Art in Nature

Using all carnivorous plants and a variety of fungi, to create an artist’s pallet, placed among a woodland setting.

Foliage such as these, are generally viewed as ‘ugly’ plants …but in this instance, produced a Gold Medal winning display!
